Terms of Service

Last updated: June 22, 2026

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of TanskyLab (“Service”, “we”, “us”), a web application operated by Next Real sp. z o.o., a limited liability company (spółka z ograniczoną odpowiedzialnością) registered in Poland, with its registered office at Gdańska 13, 50-334 Wrocław, Poland, entered in the National Court Register (KRS) under no. 0001242343, NIP 8982334148, REGON 544812952 (“Operator”). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Definitions

  • Service — the TanskyLab web application available at tanskylab.com and related subdomains.
  • User — any natural person who creates an account and uses the Service.
  • Content — images uploaded by the User and files generated by the Service (STL, 3MF, and other formats).
  • Project — a generator configuration tied to a specific 3D-printable model template (e.g., the 100-piece puzzle set).
  • Account — the User's registered profile, accessible after authentication.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to create an account and use the Service. If you are under 18, you confirm that a parent or legal guardian has consented to your use of the Service. By registering you represent that the information you provide is accurate and complete.

3. Account registration

You may register using Google OAuth or an email and password. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity under your account. You must notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or show signs of abuse.

4. Description of the Service

TanskyLab allows registered Users to upload photographs, crop and tune them, select filament colors, and generate ready-to-print Bambu Studio 3MF project files for supported 3D-printable model templates. The Service also generates intermediate STL heightmap meshes as part of the process. Generated files are delivered through private, time-limited signed download links.

5. Uploaded images and intellectual property

You retain all rights to the images you upload. By uploading an image you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to process, resize, crop, and transform the image solely for the purpose of generating output files for your account. This license terminates when the input image is deleted from our storage.

You represent and warrant that you have the legal right to upload each image and that the image does not infringe the intellectual property rights, privacy rights, or any other rights of a third party. You must not upload images that contain illegal content, depict minors inappropriately, or violate any applicable law.

The Operator is not responsible for the content of uploaded images. We reserve the right to remove content that we believe, at our sole discretion, violates these Terms or applicable law.

6. Generated files

Generated STL and 3MF files are derived from your uploaded images and the Operator's model templates. You may use the generated files for personal, non-commercial 3D printing. The underlying model templates, puzzle piece geometry, frame designs, and generator code remain the intellectual property of the Operator and/or the original model authors.

You must not redistribute, sell, or sublicense the model template geometry contained in generated files separately from a physical print. Sharing a finished, physically printed item (e.g., as a gift) is permitted and encouraged.

7. Plans and generation limits

Free accounts are currently limited to 5 generations per calendar month and to projects designated as free. Paid plans (Premium and Commercial) provide unlimited generations and access to all projects for the duration of the plan. The Operator may change these limits, plan contents, and the set of free and paid projects at any time. Failed generations may count toward the free limit. Usage counters reset on the first day of each UTC month.

8. File retention

Uploaded input images are intended to be stored temporarily, typically up to 24 hours, to allow regeneration. Generated output files (STL, 3MF) are intended to remain available for approximately 24 hours through private signed links. Exact retention periods may vary and are subject to change as storage automation evolves.

We do not guarantee permanent availability of any uploaded or generated file. You are responsible for downloading and keeping your own copies of generated files.

9. Prohibited uses

You agree not to:

  • use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law;
  • upload content that infringes third-party rights or contains illegal material;
  • attempt to circumvent generation limits, authentication, or security measures;
  • use automated scripts, bots, or crawlers to access the Service without permission;
  • interfere with or disrupt the Service or the servers and networks connected to it;
  • reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the generator or model templates;
  • impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation with any entity.

10. Third-party services and printing

TanskyLab generates project files for use with Bambu Studio and compatible 3D printers. The Service does not replace Bambu Studio, HueForge, MakerWorld, or the original model author's instructions. You are solely responsible for verifying dimensions, slicing settings, filament changes, and print safety before printing. The Operator is not liable for print failures, material waste, printer damage, or any other consequence of using generated files.

11. Service availability and modifications

The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time without prior notice.

We reserve the right to introduce paid features, change free-tier limits, or modify the Service in any way. Where practicable, significant changes will be communicated in advance through the Service or by email.

12. Disclaimer of warranties

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the Operator disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that generated files will be suitable for any specific printer, filament, or project, or that the Service will meet your requirements.

13. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the Operator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, material waste, or printer damage, arising out of or related to your use of the Service. In no event shall the Operator's total liability exceed the amount you have paid to the Operator in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or EUR 50, whichever is greater. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

14. Termination

You may stop using the Service and request account deletion at any time by contacting us. We may suspend or terminate your account if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms, with or without prior notice depending on the severity of the violation.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. We may retain certain data as required by law or for legitimate business purposes, as described in our Privacy Policy.

15. Marketing communications

We may send transactional emails related to your account, authentication, generated files, and important service changes. Marketing emails about new projects, features, or updates will only be sent with your prior consent or where otherwise permitted by applicable law. Every marketing email will include an unsubscribe mechanism. New accounts are opted out of marketing by default.

16. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will reflect the most recent revision. If changes are material, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you (e.g., by email or a notice in the Service). Continued use of the Service after the updated Terms take effect constitutes acceptance. If you do not agree to the revised Terms, you should stop using the Service and request account deletion.

17. Cookies

The Service uses cookies and similar technologies as described in our Privacy Policy. When you first visit the Service, a consent banner allows you to accept all cookies, customize your preferences by category (essential, functional, analytics, marketing), or accept only essential cookies.

Essential cookies are required for the Service to function and are always active. Non-essential cookies are set only with your consent. You may change your cookie preferences at any time by clicking “Cookie Settings” in the website footer. Disabling certain cookies may limit the functionality of the Service.

18. Billing and payments

Paid plans are sold as a one-time purchase that grants access for a fixed period of one (1) year from the date of purchase. Prices are shown at checkout (currently Premium USD 39 per year and Commercial USD 119 per year) and may be changed for future purchases. Applicable VAT is calculated and shown at checkout.

Plans do not renew automatically. When a plan’s year ends, access returns to the free tier unless you purchase again. If you purchase again while a plan is still active, the additional year is added to your remaining time.

The Commercial plan additionally grants a license to sell physical puzzles you print from files generated with the Service. It does not permit redistribution, resale, or sublicensing of the generated digital files (including STL and 3MF) themselves, or of the Service’s templates.

Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not receive or store your full payment card details. You can buy as an individual or, by entering a company name and VAT identification number (e.g. NIP) at checkout, receive a VAT invoice. Stripe issues a receipt and invoice for each purchase by email.

19. Right of withdrawal and refunds

Paid plans give you immediate access to digital content and services. If you are a consumer in the European Union, you normally have a 14-day right to withdraw from a distance contract. By purchasing a plan and using it (for example, by generating a file or accessing a paid project), you expressly request that performance begin immediately and acknowledge that you lose your right of withdrawal once the service has been fully performed, in accordance with applicable EU consumer law.

If you have not used any paid feature, you may request a refund within 14 days by contacting contact@tanskylab.com. We may also grant refunds at our discretion, for example where the Service did not work as described. Nothing here limits mandatory consumer rights under the law of your country of residence.

20. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Poland, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. If you are a consumer habitually resident in the European Union, you also benefit from any mandatory provisions of the law of your country of residence. Any disputes shall be submitted to the competent courts in Poland, unless mandatory consumer protection rules of your jurisdiction provide otherwise. You may also use the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

21. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect. The invalid or unenforceable provision shall be replaced by a valid provision that most closely reflects the original intent.
